Inspired by mountaineering pioneers, Peter made the solo crossing by following the historic routes of the first climbers, entrusting himself only to his experience as a mountain guide. A challenge with the mountain on equal terms, rapidly but not in a hurry, an intimate journey that he wished to complete to get to the roots of climbing, and of his own approach to mountaineering.
