Pioneers / Pionieri

Pioneers / Pionieri

On August 10th 2021, Peter Moser took on six of the main peaks in the Pale di San Martino mountains in a single day. Inspired by mountaineering pioneers, Peter made the solo crossing by following the historic routes of the first climbers, entrusting himself only to his experience as a mountain guide. A challenge with the mountain on equal terms, rapidly but not in a hurry, an intimate journey that he wished to complete to get to the roots of climbing, and of his own approach to mountaineering.

The term "quarantine" comes from the 40 days of isolation to which ships returning from areas affected by the plague in the 14th century were subjected.
