Speed and Trixie arrive at an airport to head for Hawaii and stumble across a shooting incident aiming at a stranger man and a girl. After their arrival to Hawaii, they find the man they saw earlier dead. Now, they are caught up in a battle between the secret service and thugs for a new laser weapon.
On a plane to Hong Kong to join a race, Speed witnesses a man being murdered with a poisoned needle, but someone kills the assassin lady to seal her mouth. After arriving in Hong Kong, Speed stumbles across a plot to kill Princess Petal of the Kingdom of Blossombow, and now his life is also in danger.
There is an ongoing mystery that unmanned cars suddenly drive away and disappear. To date, 48,000 cars have gone missing. The police request Speed to track down those unmanned cars as they are not able to catch them. Speed discovers and chases the empty cars, but loses sight of them on his way.
To participate in a race in the United States, Speed and Trixie board a passenger plane. Dr. Fantasty, a developer of a new type of rocket fuel, is also aboard. However, masked men suddenly hijack the plane and take Dr. Fantasty, Speed, and his fellows to a mysterious islet.
Speed escapes from a trap set by the assassin gang , and prevents the assassination of the President of Avalonia, the next target of the assassins. The Vice President and his secretary invite Speed to their official residence, but the assassins have been waiting there for him.
An assassin with a rifle is attempting to shoot the Princess who is in the royal box to wave the starting flag for the Mystic Grand Prix. However, the plot fails due to mirror reflection. The assassins suspect and target Speed assuming that a secret agent who hid among the racers interfered.
Dan, Marucho and Runo enter into battle with Klaus, Chan and Julio to try to find out where Masquerade is hiding.
A three-on-three battle ensues with Dan, Runo and Marucho answering a challenge from Klaus Von Hertzon, Chan Lee and Julio Santana Marucho encounters a former friend on the battlefield who now fights for the enemy.
Dan and Shun have a falling out Shun takes off on his own to destroy Masquerade, with Alice chasing after him.
Dan and Drago strike out on their own to confront Mag Mel. Shun gives chase and tries to stop him.
Under Marucho's leadership, the Brawlers attempt to delete the Chaos Bakugan from the Interspace.
Dan and Drago return from New Vestroia to help the Battle Brawlers defend the Interspace from the rampaging Chaos Bakugan.
In a fierce battle against Sellon on Neathia, Dan and Drago summon Mechtogan Zenthon for help.
Marucho and Shun's quarrel over Shun's excessive battling comes to a head when the two teammates square off in a championship match.
Wyvern takes Dan and Drago on a journey into "the center of their minds" to try and solve the identity of the mysterious man haunting their visions.
Dan and Drago are paid a visit by their old friend Wyvern, who offers some sage advice to help them get over their battling difficulties.
