Meanwhile, Dwyer learns the ropes to his newly appointed position of Vice Principal and Nisha, fresh off her camp counsellor summer job, struggles to reset boundaries with three seniors.
It's almost the end of the school year, and Gerry seems to be the only teacher at Xavier who hasn't been offered a full-time contract for next fall. Even after Gerry plays the marriage card, it seems Lisa can't guarantee him anything beyond fulltime substitute. Unwilling to accept this fate, Gerry gets an idea to start his own Charter school. Meanwhile, Robert and Bobbi interview applicants to fill Bobbi's position while she's away on maternity leave. Her initial concern about finding a qualified candidate is replaced with a deep insecurity that she won't even be missed when the candidates prove quite overqualified. Lisa pulls out all the stops to throw an end-of-year faculty party. But when her efforts seem to go unappreciated, Lisa makes a bold move.
