นี่คือจุดเริ่มต้นของตำนาน…ของเจ้าฆาตกรต่อเนื่อง ไมเคิล ไมเยอร์ส ฆาตกรที่มีแฟนคลับชื่นชอบมากที่สุดเป็นอันดับต้นๆของโลก Halloween ในคืนฮาโลวีนปีหนึ่ง ได้มีเหตุการณ์ฆาตกรรมหญิงสาวเกิดขึ้น ที่น่าตกตะลึงก็คือเจ้าฆาตกรไม่ใช่ใครที่ไหน แต่กลับเป็นหนูน้อย ไมเคิล ไมเยอร์ส วัยเพียงแค่ 6 ขวบเท่านั้น แถมเขายังเป็นคนลงมือฆ่าพี่สาวแท้ๆของตัวเองอีกด้วย ไมเคิลถูกส่งตัวเข้าโรงพยาบาลบ้า เพื่อทำการรักษาและบำบัดอาการทางจิต เวลาผ่านไปหลาย 10 ปี ในช่วงก่อนคืนวันฮาโลวีน ไมเคิลได้หลบหนีออกมาจากโรงพยาบาล และเขากำลังมุ่งหน้ากลับบ้านเพื่อกลับไปสานต่องานเชือดที่เขาค้างคาไว้ โชคร้ายสุดซวยจึงตกเป็น ลอรี่ พี่เลี้ยงที่อาสามาดูแลเด็กๆในช่วงเทศกาลฮาโลวีนพอดี งานนี้เธอและเพื่อนจึงต้องเผชิญหน้ากับเจ้าฆาตกรสุดอำมหิต
