Her Thirteenth Month
One day, while visiting the on-campus shoe repair shop to have her heels fixed, Yeo-kyung meets Woo-cheol, the shoemaker. Woo-cheol was supporting his family while caring for his father, who had suffered a stroke. When Woo-cheol's shoe repair shop faced the threat of demolition, Yeo-kyung persuaded the president of the academic society to help save it. As they came to understand each other's circumstances through this process, the two gradually grew closer… Wanting to escape her mother, who had changed after her divorce, Yeo-kyung began her first relationship with Seong-jin, whom she met in college, and they married during her senior year. However, having no understanding of what love or a relationship with a man entailed, Yeo-kyung became overly possessive of her relationship with Seong-jin, causing friction between them, and was eventually abandoned by him. Several years later, Yeo-kyung, who had taken a job as an adjunct lecturer, learns that her ex-husband, Seong-jin, has been appointed to the same university. She steels herself against the temptation to waver.
