Ije goes to Uisik, dragging Hong Nampyo with him, and hands in an official complaint against Jaejun. Meanwhile, Jaejun tells Sogeum about his childhood.

Dong Joo insists that the sole reason why he's at the hospital as an intern is that he wants to save lives. In Soo wants him to keep his relationship with his fellow doctors first before he busts any move on the operating table. Seo Jung sees a lot in the new intern. For now, they attend to a couple of patients from a construction site accident.

Munsik becomes uneasy after confirming that Yeongsin is Jian, and Assistant Oh sets a dangerous trap to get rid of her. Munho and Jeonghu find out that Yeongsin is in danger, and run over to save her...
"Us under the sunset" Munho begins his one-on-one training of Yeongsin to turn her into a real reporter, and Jeonghu finds Munho to be an eyesore. Munsik is suspicious of Yeongsin and conducts a background search on her, and Jeonghu, who is busy with his dual life, receives a new job request: to protect Yeongsin. "It begins" Thanks to Jeonghu's quick thinking, Yeongsin escapes from President Hwang's house and is questioned by Detective Yoon. Meanwhile, Jeonghu succeeds in luring Sangsu out. After Munsik uses the media to frame Joo Yeonhui for being a seductress, Yeongsin is overwhelmed and calls Munho. That night, Jeonghu hears a shocking confession from Yeongsin. And then... he came.

Jaehwan collapses and the regular board meeting is just around the corner. When everyone is gathered together, Ije tells them that this is the last chance to get Jaejun.
Ije tells everyone that he intends to get Jaehwan a stay of execution by getting him diagnosed with Huntington's disease, an illness that Lee Deokseong had. When Jaejun begins to threaten Minsk's family, Minsik reaches out to Ije. Uisik finds out a suspicious connection to Taegang while looking into Jeonghui's case.
Jaejun tries to stop Jaehwan's stay of execution by planting Doctor Choi Donghun in the West Seoul Prison. Meanwhile, Jeonghui gives Uisik the video of Jaejun trying to kidnap Bit.
Jaejun goes into the chairman's hospital room and tries to take the ventilator off of his father, but Ije stops him just in time. Uisik receives a video of Yeongcheol from Ije. He arrests Yeongcheol for the attempted murder of Congressman Jung. Ije figures out that Minseok has been hiding a chronic illness.

Jaejun goes to the front of Ije's house to catch Bit, and Sogeum goes to stop him. Meanwhile, Ije gets a call saying that Congressman Jung collapsed.
Ije tells Minsik to hand over Haeun Hospital to him. Meanwhile, Sogeum gets a call from Bit and goes to meet him.
Minsik tries to use Sangchun to cut off Ije's hand, but Ije persuades Sangchun, saying that he will help Sangchun meet his daughter. Meanwhile, Sogeum finds out that Ije injected a drug into Bit before he disappeared.
