Steeling her resolve, Jeongi immerses herself in the potter's wheel and presents the finished vessel to King Seonjo.
As Jeongi and Yukdo face off in a decisive competition, all eyes at the Bunwon are fixed on the outcome. Thrilled at the prospect of becoming nangcheong, Yukdo is confident of victory. Jeongi asks Hwa-ryeong to procure the white clay needed for the contest, while Hwa-ryeong urges Yukdo to defeat Jeongi at all costs.
