At Yoon-beom's funeral, Sang-eun shocks Joo-ran by saying, “Your husband killed mine.” From then on, Joo-ran begins to notice suspicious traces of Jae-ho's hidden life. Sang-eun, meanwhile, finds a secret phone Yoon-beom had hidden, which contains a photo of Jae-ho with a young girl. She begins scheming to blackmail Jae-ho for money.
Just before his death, Yoon-beom suddenly visits Joo-ran's house and mentions a late-night fishing trip with Jae-ho. Later, Sang-eun discovers that Yoon-beom had been drowning in debt. Meanwhile, Joo-ran eventually finds a severed finger buried in her backyard…

Hyeri goes to support the Media N Seoul sports day with snacks and ends up paired with Joo-yeon for dodgeball. She accidentally injures her hand during the event. A few days later, at a joint campaign shoot, Joo-yeon meets Eun-ho, who looks exactly like Hyeri.
On the outside, Hyun-oh seems to have grown up in a warm and wealthy family, but he carries a secret pain he has never shared, not even with Eun-ho. He chose to break up with her because he could not bear to share his unhappiness with the woman he loved.
