There he encounters the film's star, the washed-up, hard-drinking one-time action star Jake Mellows. With both crooks and the law out to get him, Raikes goes on the run, eventually hooking up with Mellows.

They decide to sneak aboard the train as a surprise, only to suspect he's having an affair with the mysterious Galina. To make matters much worse, terrorists hijack the train and go after the virus.
