To participate in a race in the United States, Speed and Trixie board a passenger plane. Dr. Fantasty, a developer of a new type of rocket fuel, is also aboard. However, masked men suddenly hijack the plane and take Dr. Fantasty, Speed, and his fellows to a mysterious islet.

Wyvern takes Dan and Drago on a journey into "the center of their minds" to try and solve the identity of the mysterious man haunting their visions.
Dan and Drago are paid a visit by their old friend Wyvern, who offers some sage advice to help them get over their battling difficulties.
Mag Mel sends Anubias to New Vestroia to battle Dan and Drago in order to harness their power.
Dan and Drago land in New Vestroia in search of a safe place to train in an attempt to control Drago's new powers.
After the epic battle with Anubias, Dan and Drago go AWOL. The new BakuNano technology is introduced to cause maximum damage.
Anubias faces off with Dan for the title of Bakugan Interspace Champion. Shun and Marucho try to talk Dan out of battling, but he refuses.
Inspector Detector suspects that the criminals are mixed up in the No Limit World Race. It turns out the criminal are participating in the race on a Mammoth Car.
Speed tries to help a kind old man to find his stolen car. It turns out that the man is a son of a once infamous gang boss, and the classic car he drives has a map a stash of treasure.
Speed was saved by a masked racer who is revealed to be Speed's older brother, Rex Racer. When Speed was at Rex's house, he was mistaken for Rex and kidnapped by intruder.
A masked racer, whose identity is in mystery, and whose face is concealed by a mask, came to Japan. He was a top racer but was also rumored to cause car crashes whenever he races.
Speed enters the Sword Mountain Race behind his father's back. However, Ace and his gang attack the Mach 5, aiming to steal the blueprints of Pops Racer's new engine.
In order to win, the racers try to sabotage the race by any means necessary. Speed continues to race with his belief in fair play, but this motto comes to corner him. Speed aims to reach the goal driving the Mach 5, overcoming various obstacles. What will happen next in the race?!
Mr. Goldminter, the richest man in the world, holds the Around the World Grand Prix. The champion will win tons of gold and his daughter, Lovelace. Upon a request, Speed joins the race with his pride as a racer. Lovelace also joins the race secretly, resisting to her father's self-centered decision.
Mira and Spectra meet with Prince Hydron, who shows her his collection and later receives a message from his father.
As Dan and Baron safely make it back to New Vestroia, they find their base completely empty with no sign of Shun anywhere.
The Resistance is ready to head back to New Vestroia and Dan wants to bring Runo, Julie and Alice along.
