After the Shane hideout is ransacked, the gang trades in one of Eli's prized slugs for new gear. When Eli has second thoughts they go back to get it, only to learn that it's been sold to Dr. Blakk, along with hundreds of others to be transformed into feral Ghoul Slugs. Eli refuses to let his slug or any other get ghouled, so the team breaks in to Blakk's fortress to free them. While inside, they learn of Blakk's plan to conquer Slugterra.
Now its Eli's turn to be Slugterra's next Shane, whether he's ready or not! Unfortunately, the slugslinging tournament he enters to prove that he's ready, pretty quickly shows that he's not!
