Joining us on this week's I'm LIVE is singer ALi! ALi burst into the music scene in 2005 as a guest vocalist for Leessang. Thanks to her unique voice and expressive vocals she mesmerized the public immediately and then she made her debut as a solo artist in 2009 with the album “After The Love Has Gone.” In the competition program “Immortal Songs” she presented her own covers of various masterpieces including “Leopard of Kilimanjaro” and “I Have a Girlfriend” and gained both popular and critical acclaim. In December last year ALi released the remake album “Adolescence” which is composed of the five songs that had a huge influence on her back in her 20's and 30's to share with listeners how she makes the most of the youngest day of her life. Younha began her career in 2003 in Japan with her first single “ゆびきり.” Then she found mainstream success the following year with her second Japanese single “ほうき星 (Comet)” which was included on the soundtrack of the anime series “Bleach.” The song peaked on the Oricon Chart at #15 giving her the nickname of the “Oricon Comet.” Her success in the island country led to her debut in Korea as well she debuted in Korea in 2016 where she is regarded as one of the country's best singer-songwriters. From “Waiting” to “Password 486” Younha has many hit songs under her belt. She has also collaborated with numerous A-list musicians including Toy and Epik High. In November last year Younha released her sixth full-length album “END THEORY” to once again prove how versatile of a musician she is. From rock to ballad music she covered various genres in the album and the album's lead single “Stardust” was chosen as one of Billboard's Best K-pop Songs of the Year. The trilogy is composed of the Christmas Special the Year-End Special and the New-Year Special and the guest of the New-Year Special Episode is Juk Jae. Juk Jae is a guitarist-turned-singer-songwriter known for his lyrical and ambient songs with a guitar sound. Since his debut in 2014 he has collaborated with numerous singers including IU and Zion T and has also released many hit songs but he is still determined to show his transformation and growth through music. As part of that effort he hosts the audio show “Juk Jae's Night Time Studio” and also went on his first concert tour across Korea in November last year. In this New-Year Special Edition Juk Jae performs “Let's Go See The Stars” “Sky Dream” “One Another” and more to amaze our ears and souls.
