Leaving her audience with Inbin, Jeongi runs into Gangcheon and Yukdo at the palace. When King Seonjo refers to Euldam as a traitor, Jeongi is left on edge. Together with Taedo, she devises a plan to ensnare Gangcheon. Later, Gwanghae returns the bowl Jeongi once gave to Son Haengsu. Impressed by Jeongi's skill, Inbin requests that if Jeongi crafts a medicine bowl that fully satisfies Prince Shinseong, she be officially appointed a master potter.

After hearing the full truth from Mapung, Jeongi breaks down in tears before Mun Saseung, who is left stunned and shaken. Jeongi then pleads with Gwanghae to delay Gangcheon's arrest just a little longer. Confronting Gangcheon herself, Jeongi is devastated once more when he coldly declares that Yukdo is the only bloodline he acknowledges.
