Seolhui becomes anxious when Juman heads out to meet Yejin who keeps sending Juman text messages when she is drunk. Seolhui asks Yejin to stop contacting him and asking him to meet her, but Yejin refuses to give up on him. Meanwhile, Hyeran appears in front of Aera at the festival rehearsal.

Hyun Soo and Jung Sun meet and get back together. Jung Sun decides to stay in Korea and not leave for Hong Kong. After turning her phone off, Hyun Soo spends the night at Jung Sun's place. Kyung is worried about her and calls Jung Woo for help. He goes to their home, and Hyun Soo walks in.

Jung Sun meets Jung Woo to talk about paying back his mom's debt. On his way home, he gets a call from his father. Hyun Soo comes to Good Soup to interview him for her drama. Hyun Soo continues to feel as though Jung Sun isn't letting her in. Meanwhile, Hong Ah and Yi Bok prepare for Hong Ah's drama.
Hyun Soo tells Jung Sun that she wants to live with him. Joon Ha and Hong Ah have a hard time working together on Hong Ah's drama. Jung Sun confronts Jung Woo for lending his mother money. Hyun Soo and Yi Bok go head-to-head on the script of "Unruly Detectives". She calls Jung Sun, who misses her call. The two go on a run together to help ease Hyun Soo's stress over her drama. Meanwhile, Hong Ah meets Jung Woo. She gives him a copy of a script she had written.
Five years have passed, and Jung Sun and Hyun Soo meet again. Hyun Soo tells him that she regretted missing his call the day that he left. Won Joon finds out that Hong Ah is working as Hyun Soo's assistant. He calls her to confront her for making Jung Sun and Won Joon believe that Hyun Soo was going to get married.
