A labrador needs surgery after eating the sock her puppies were playing with, and Peter must find another way to feed a foal that is unable to ingest its mother's milk.
Two babies' lives hang in the balance. Peter rushes into Skeldale on his day off to try and save Richard Bell's lamb, who was badly injured when he was born just a few hours ago. And at Suzanne Benson's trekking centre, Julian's treating a very poorly one-week old llama called Noah.
