Joe Kovack makes a play for Samantha in a restaurant. Darrin rushes to her defense. Realizing Darrin faces certain slaughter, Samantha twitches her nose and Joe falls to the floor, Since Joe is Number One contender for the heavyweight title, newspapers hail Darrin as a coming champ. Darrin pleads with Samantha to let him fight, his own battles. Then, Joe and his Manager, trying to regain a crack at a lucrative championship bout, approach Darrin with a plan for a make-believe bout in which Joe pretends to knock Darrin out. Again, Darrin with the uncalled-on help of Samantha K.O.'s Joe. Finally, Darrin runs into Tommy Carter, the champ-himself. An unplanned for scuffle takes place. Tommy trips and knocks himself out. Later, Larry Tate tells Darrin he has solved the problem by hiring Tommy. Tommy's first assignment is to fight a four-round bout for charity. Darrin quakes at learning that Tommy is to choose his opponent. However, he sadly concludes that with Samantha insisting on being his second, he can't help winning again.
Shopping for antiques, Samantha is intrigued by an old chair which moves about to catch her attention.

Darrin is furious when Samantha gives his orange and green checked sport jacket, bought before he was married, to Good Will.
The Stephens are invited to the Tate home to meet a client, Mr. MacElroy, who manufactures shoes.
Diaper Dan, secretly working for the A.J. Kimberly Adver-tising Agency, gives Samantha a baby rattle. As the rattle is bugged, Dan is able to tape all the conversation at the Stephens home.
Darrin is incensed when Endora makes a house appear on a vacant lot near the Stephens home for a Halloween party.
Uncle Arthur pops out of a painting in the Stephens home. Samantha tells him she is trying to stop Endora from encouraging Tabitha to use her witchcraft.
Gerry O'Toole, a beautiful Irish girl who is a friend of Darrin's aunt arrives for a visit and announces she plans to stay with the Stephens until she gets a job.
Aunt Clara baby-sits with Tabitha Stephens and Timothy Tate when their parents go to the theatre.
Endora tells Samantha that her aunts are coming to the Stephens' home to test Tabitha's powers of witchcraft.
Samantha still hasn't found the courage to tell Darrin Tabitha is a witch.
Dr. Koblin reports that Tabitha is a normal baby. But, Samantha sees a toy pony floating in the air to Tabitha when she wiggles her fingers, and realizes the baby has inherited her witchcraft.
Samantha arranges a meeting between Darrin and her mother which she hopes will settle their differences. A series of minor accidents sets Darrin and Endora accusing each other of being practical pokers. Realizing someone else is responsible, Samantha uncovers a serving dish and reveals her Uncle Arthur, who dotes on practical jokes. Infuriated by Darrin's uproarious appreciation of Uncle Arthur, Endora plants a Beatles hairdo on Darrin. Darrin refuses Uncle Arthur's offer to teach him some magic so he can stand up to Endora, until he is knocked out by an accident in the office. Certain Endora is at work, Darrin accepts Uncle Arthur's offer. Following Uncle Arthur's weird instructions, Darrin tries to make Endora disappear. When she does not, Darrin realizes he has been the victim of another of Uncle Arthur's pranks. Samantha enlists Endora and Darrin in a plan to cure Uncle Arthur. Arthur is incredulous when Darrin says he can turn Endora into a parrot. When Endora becomes a parrot (through her own witchcraft), Arthur pleads with Darrin to remove the spell. Endora then returns to normal and demands that Arthur stop his practical jokes, which Uncle Arthur accepts. Before leaving, Uncle Arthur gives Endora a pair of opera glasses. When she lowers them she has two black eyes.
Phoning from London, the Tates inform the Stephens that their governess has been taken ill. They ask Darrin and Samantha to care for the child until they return. Gladys Kravitz sees them leaving the house and returning with a baby. Assuming the Stephens' baby has arrived, Gladys congratulates Maurice, Samantha's father, on the birth of his grandson. Maurice is shocked to find the baby is not being taught witchcraft. He flies away with the child to the Warlock's Club in London. Meanwhile, the Tates arrive at the local airport. Darrin tries to stall while Samantha finds their baby. In London, after many tests, the Warlocks tell Maurice the baby "hasn't got it." Nanny Witch adds that the baby is a mortal like the father. At the Stephens home, Samantha and Darrin are about to tell the Tates their baby is missing, when Maurice arrives with the child. Maurice's pride is restored when Samantha tells him her baby is not due for several months. Arriving with a present, Gladys is told to wait until Samantha's baby is born. Before vanishing through a wall, Maurice hands Gladys a martini. Watching Gladys down it, Samantha hopes she will not remember what she has seen and heard.
When strange things begin happening to Adam Newlarkin, a friend of Darrin's, Aunt Clara tells Samantha he has inherited the spell placed by a witch on his ancestor who was a judge in Salem two hundred years before. Aunt Clara adds that unless Adam follows the antidote for the spell strictly, he will be branded a thief. The Stephens learn that Adam has been hired by a local bank. Samantha and Darrin manage to get Adam to kiss a dog, the first step. With Aunt Clara's help, Darrin dunks Adam in a pool three times. They have trouble persuading him to ride through town shouting praise of witches, which is the final step. However, finding his briefcase stuffed with money , Adam, a true native of Salem, believes he is under a spell. He mounts a horse and starts riding. Bank manager Abercrombie and a detective, having discovered the loss of seventy five thousand dollars, come to the Stephens' home. Aunt Clara makes the money disappear from the briefcase. Abercrombie apologizes to Adam after learning that a bank employee has been taken into custody with the stolen cash.
Learning that he is about to become a father, Darrin waits on Samantha hand and foot. Then Larry Tate convinces him that all women would make a career out of having a baby if you allowed them to. He gives Darrin a book on the subject which states that the more active the mother, the happier she will be, and the healthier the child. Darrin returns home completely convinced. Endora is infuriated when she hears Darrin ordering Samantha to do chores around the house. The following day, Darrin wakes up with a backache. At an office lunch, he fights for extra pickles. When Samantha learns of this, she faces up to her mother. Endora admits she has cast a spell over Darrin, but will do nothing to change the situation for the present. Darrin, dis-cussing his plight at a bar, becomes obsessed with the idea that he is going to have a baby himself. Finally, Endora removes the spell and Darrin becomes completely attentive to Samantha once more. She agrees with Darrin's assertion that he is one man in a million who knows just how she feels.
Samantha's Aunt Clara arrives on the Stephens' first anniversary with presents for Samantha and Darrin. Casting a spell to adjust a checkered cap she has given Darrin, Aunt Clara uses the wrong words and turns Darrin into a chimpanzee. Unable to remember how to remove the spell, Aunt Clara goes home to look for the formula. When Samantha leaves the house, Endora stays with Darrin. Darrin leaps out of a window and runs into Gladys Kravitz. She takes the chimp back to her house. Soon after, Aunt Clara comes with her book of magic, Samantha returns. Samantha tells Aunt Clara she must find Darrin since her doctor has told her she is going to have a baby. Meanwhile, Gladys and Abner have turned Darrin over to the zoo, where he is caged with three other chimps. Samantha goes to the zoo. Then Aunt Clam arrives and turns Darrin back to his former self. Samantha is finally able to tell him he is to be a father. Later, Gladys begins telling the Stephens about the chimpanzee. Suddenly realizing that Darrin is wearing the same outfit as the chimp, Gladys streaks back to her own house.
Almost as determined as Endora to break up Samantha's marriage to a mere mortal, Samantha's cousin Edgar, an elf, begins playing pranks on Darrin. Darrin's agency has been trying to hold onto the Shelley Shoe account. Edgar, invisible to all, plagues Darrin in his office. Darrin is sure Endora is working on him again, and has difficulty persuading Larry Tate to let him present the new campaign to Mr. Shelley. At the sales meeting, Fred Schulwiler, as unscrupulous competitor, almost gets the account when he makes it appear that Darrin is trying to make Mr. Shelley look ridiculous. When Samantha convinces Edgar that she is very happy with Darrin, he switches his attentions to Schulwiler. Before Edgar is through, Schulwiler has lost all chance of landing the Shelley account. Darrin, coming up with an advertising campaign featuring an elf not unlike Edgar, ties up the account for his firm.
Samantha and Endora discover the culinary delights of Mario's restaurant. Mario tells them he is going broke because he refuses to sell pizza. Samantha learns that Darrin's agency has a new client, Linton Baldwin, the owner of a large chain of pizza parlors. When Samantha uses witchcraft to get a huge newspaper ad for Mario, and Endora inserts a plug for him on Baldwin's TV program, Baldwin tells Larry Tate he is cancelling his account and signing with the agency handling Mario's restaurant. Realizing Darrin's career is in jeopardy, Samantha persuades Endora to help save the Baldwin account for Darrin. They lay out a spectacular advertising campaign for Baldwin and give the credit to Darrin's agency. Not only does Baldwin ask Darrin's agency to keep his account, but Mario's restaurant becomes a great success.
