Do Hyun can't stop thinking about Ri Jin, which only fuels Se Gi's jealousy. Eventually, Se Gi warns him, “If you touch my woman, yours will be in danger.” Provoked, Do Hyun goes to Ri Jin and asks her to become his secret personal doctor.
Se Gi, who has kidnapped Ri Jin, asks her to make Do Hyun disappear forever. Director Ahn begins tracking their whereabouts. Meanwhile, Do Hyun ends up at Ri On's house, and Ri On introduces him to his family as “Mr. Perry.”

Ji Young, along with the ViVi Cosmetics members including Hyung Joon, begins serious 'Miss Korea' training. Meanwhile, Director Ma and Director Yang are surprised by the news that the Miss Korea pageant might not be held due to the IMF crisis.

Seeing Jeongi clad in her official potter's robes, Gwanghae smiles with pride and gifts her the workshop once used by Euldam. Reduced to desperation, Gangcheon and Yukdo beg Mun Saseung to allow them to remain at the Bunwon. Elsewhere, at the request of a Japanese merchant, Hwa-ryeong summons Jeongi—hinting at new trials yet to come.
