Yusei and Roman continue their Duel. Roman pushes Yusei to despair, by revealing information about his past and putting his friends in danger.
Yusei and the other Signers visit Martha in Satellite, but Roman interrupts their visit, challenging Yusei to a Shadow Duel.
Crow and Lazar continue their Duel, with Crow still thinking Lazar is a Dark Signer, while the Signers prepare to travel to Satellite to face the Dark Signers.
While the Signers must make their decision to whether or not they must battle the Dark Signers, Crow encounters Lazar in Satellite and challenges him to a Duel.
Rex Goodwin invites the Signers to his home and reveals to them the secret of the Crimson Dragon, as well as the connection between the Signers and the Dark Signers.
Yusei and Akiza's Duel continues. Akiza continues to inflict pain to Yusei. But despite the pain, Yusei is still determined to bring Akiza out of her sorrow.

Carly Carmine, who has been thrown off the Arcadia Movement building to her death as a result of her Duel with Sayer, has come back to life as a Dark Signer, seeking revenge. Meanwhile, Misty Tredwell, after sensing that Carly has fully become a Dark Signer, goes to the Arcadia Movement to Duel Akiza Izinski as she desires revenge of her own. With both Dark Signers ready to wreak both havoc and vengeance, the countdown to the extinction of the Psychic Duelists seems to have begun!
In fear of losing all connections with Jack, Carly continues her investigation into the Signers and Dark Signers. This leads her to the Arcadia Movement, unaware that she has a date with Destiny.
Yusei is taken by Crow to Martha's refuge to treat his injuries from his Duel with Kalin. Meanwhile, Leo insists that the Signers should all collaborate to fight against the Dark Signers and suggests they contact Arcadia Movement in seek of Akiza's co-operation.
The Duel between Yusei and Kalin continues. Yusei Summons "Stardust Dragon" in order to defeat "One Hundred-Eyed Dragon". However, Kalin smirks and holds up another trump card, "Earthbound Immortal Ccapac Apu".
The Dark Signer Kalin Kessler and Yusei Fudo continue their Duel. Kalin then Summons his trump card, the Dark Synchro Monster "One Hundred-Eyed Dragon", hoping to get rid of his former friend once and for all. Also, flashbacks are shown that reveal why Kalin hates his former team.
Determined to carry out his mission to his hometown, Greiger uses "Flying Fortress SKY FIRE" to run Yusei down. In response, Yusei reads Greiger's strategy and looks for his chance to counterattack.
The first day of the Fortune Cup comes to a close. Before their Duel begins tomorrow, Yusei and Greiger have a friendly talk during the night.
Luna engages in her Duel with Professor Frank when she is called by a mysterious voice to protect the Duel Monsters Spirit World Seeing the turmoil evildoers are doing to this land, Luna must take all her courage and skill at hand to defeat Frank's trump card.
Due to Rex Goodwin's special permission, a consolation game is to be held. Luna is called to participate. Leo is unable to substitute and Luna reluctantly comes forward. Her opponent, Professor Frank, has a trip to the Duel Monsters Spirit World planned.
Hunter Pace, under the disguise of Shira, Duels Yusei Fudo in the Fortune Cup, using a Deck he's designed to use against Jack Atlas.
Luna and Dexter try to cheer up Leo after his loss to Greiger. They approach Yusei, who tells him the experience he got from losing should prove useful later on. Leo encourages Yusei to win, just before Akiza passes them. She glares intensely at Yusei as she passes. The other three quickly step out of her way. Leo wonders what her problem is.
