Fashion week is just around the corner, but not before the final four designers are surprised with a trip to Rome, courtesy of Best Western. The designers join Tim in a trip of a lifetime, where they gain inspiration for their collections. Later, Tim visits each of the designers at home to check on their progress. The designers then return to NYC and present a preview of their collection to the judges.
The designers are asked to create a “Street Chic” look inspired by a trip around NYC, courtesy of Lexus. They are also thrown a twist…to redesign one of the “losing looks” this season, and their sewing helper is a previously eliminated designer.
The designers are taken to a large warehouse and told that for their next challenge, they will have to bid on storage units in order to obtain their materials. The designers work in teams of two to make a two-piece cohesive collection from the materials they buy.
