With Ross medically evacuated, everyone gota reprieve from Tribal Council last night. Now Contenders and Champions alike must drop their buffs and take their new black and red buff because the tribes have just merged!
At the last tribal council, Sarah was blindsided by her fellow tribe mates and became the 7th person to leave Australian Survivor and the second from the new Champions Tribe.
There was a surprise at the last Tribal Council –instead of the Contenders voting someone out, the Champions voted to steal a member of their opposition. They chose Challenge-beast Shaun aka ‘The Horse' –who quickly settle sin to his new home on the comfortable Champion's beach.
Luke is on cloud nine after dismantling the sports servealliance at last night's Tribal Council. He's the self-described snake charmer, after pulling over Ross and Abbey so now Pia, Janine and David are sitting pretty at the top.
The tribe swap has turned the game on its head and last night's elimination of Sam from the new Champions tribe proves that old alliances and tribal allegiances are set to be broken.
After six days on the island, with no toiletries and showers, John has finally had enough.
The tribe arrive back from Tribal Council. Luke is feeling pretty pleased with himself. He played his advantage and completely blindsided Abbey sending her to the Jury.
After sending Steve home during last night's Tribal Council, Brian is sitting pretty as Grubby, King of the tribe. Alone in the forest, he feasts on pawpaw to keep up his strength. He has a strong alliance with Monika, Shonee and Fenella, as well as a hidden immunity idol in his back pocket.
Heath chases a wild pig down the beach and the tribe jokes about wanting bacon. He and Tegan reflect on their strength as an alliance. In a tribe of nine, the girls currently have the majority.

With five days to go, we see the top five Survivors set their sights on how to get to the end. Shane and Sharn are in an alliance while Brian is positioned perfectly, as the last man standing, who has an idol in his pocket, and his two girls Monika and Shonee by his side.
The Champions discover that a chicken has joined their camp. After Samuel unsuccessfully chases it down, he names it Jonathan. The tribe decides to fatten it up. Everyone is on board except Moana. She's visibly against the idea.
Now just three Champions remain: Brian, Shane and Sharn. As the sun rises, they trek across the island towards the final immunity challenge. Whoever earns the immunity necklace today will also get to choose who they will face at the final tribal council, and will have a fifty percent chance of winning $500,000 – and the title of Sole Survivor.
At the Champions camp. Matt and Jackie battle it out to secure numbers within their tribe. Jackie determined to get rid of any strong players decides that Matt should be the first to go.
Benji and Robbie are celebrating their bromance the fact they are still together and they have the power. Both are feeling very comfortable in their positions within the tribe. Robbie is very happy he has the three Champion girls on side
After sending Heath home in the last night's tribal council, the Contenders meet up with the Champions and Jonathan reveals the much anticipated tribe merge. The tribe members are ecstatic!
The Champs are left wounded and at the bottom of the tribe. And for the Champs their day only gets worse, when they receive some tree mail which results in the Dead Man Walking being sent to exile.
Its Day 47 and the final four wake up feeling proud that they are still in the game. As they notch up day 47 on the tree, Shonee reflects on the fact that there are only three people between her and the half a million-dollar prize money.
Anita, Shonee and Fenella go paw paw hunting. The three are in high spirits as their tribe has been doing well at challenges. Steve K bonds with the boys. He teaches Robbie karate, Benji mandarin and he builds a crab trap with Zach. Steve urges the boys to trim the fat by putting the girls next on the chopping block.
With the divisive character of Mat voted out in the first tribal council, the Contenders morale is high and they are united in their goal to bring down the Champions.
