Curmudgeonly Shekhar (Amitabh Bachchan) is new to the block, and it doesn't take long before the street noise, as well as the children playing nearby, push his tolerance to the limit. To the rescue comes Mili (Suresh Chatwal), who has the exact opposite disposition. While Shekhar may be at a loss over what to do with her at first, he eventually falls in love. Unfortunately, when the time comes to ask for her hand, he finds out Mili has a fatal medical condition and only has a few weeks to live.
