The 4th episode takes us along the Black Sea coast. Author Claudia Wallbrecht uncovers the secret of the Tulum, a very special type of bagpipe, and accompanies a forest beekeeper on breakneck climbing adventures in the name of honey. The eastern Black Sea region borders on Georgia and Armenia, and here cultures, languages and ethnic groups have been mixing for centuries: for example, Hemşin, Lasen and the descendants of Pontic Greeks. They all shape the region - and this episode - with their music, architecture, food and ancient customs.
In episode 3, the journey goes to the almost forgotten region of Eastern Anatolia, which borders Armenia, Iran, Iraq and Syria. Accordingly, different cultures and religions mix here. The predominantly Kurdish society is still traditionally organized, with clear roles for women and men.
