Alan journeys to a unique farmhouse-converted mini chateau hidden in the luscious French countryside. Struck by its unusually zen and minimal interiors, Alan is taken out of his comfort zone as his conventional idea of paradise is challenged. He then ventures to the edge of the Baltic Sea to meet a family who have created an incredible getaway home made up of open and airy naturalistic structures on a tiny Swedish island, including an outdoor shower and a garden sauna experience!
