Highlights from Capt. Blair's recent travels.
The second day in Steinhatchee, Capt. Blair & Jay finally find where all the reds got off too, and I mean ALL the reds. This is one of the craziest sights on the show yet.
Capt. Blair heads up to Steinhatchee after getting a call from local tournament angler Jay Andrew. The reds have been popping off and so the two head out in search.
We're kicking off a special weekend at Legends Ranch in Bitely, Michigan — bringing together two groups connected by a shared respect for the outdoors. Legends Ranch has always stood for strong conservation values, and when you combine that with the work being done by the SCI Foundation and Sables, it sets the tone for something bigger than just a hunt. Sables members are deeply involved in shaping the future of hunting — reaching into classrooms, working with young people, collaborating with wildlife professionals, and engaging leaders at both the state and national level. Their efforts are centered on helping others understand wildlife diversity, the principles behind the North American Model of Wildlife Conservation, and the role hunting plays in maintaining balance in the wild. They're also helping keep the tradition alive — showing that hunting still has a strong place in today's culture and communities. With that kind of purpose behind it, this weekend is about more than time in the field — it's about continuing something that matters.
We follow along with the crew from Struttinbuck on their annual Father Son hunt at FE Hill. No matter what happens throughout the year this is always a must have trip and a time to settle down and enjoy the great outdoors.
The bond between and parent and child can grow in many ways, but nothing compares to the bond shared when hunting. The annual Father-Son hunt at FE Hill Outfitters has becoming a tradition for Heath and his son Gavin and in 2021, Gavin was able to take his largest buck to date, with his dad Heath behind the camera.
We are blessed today to hunt with Cole Dutton for the Inaugural Pierce Dutton Memorial Hunt. We are honored to spend a weekend with Cole and his family at the G2 Ranch. Disabled Outdoorsman has played a huge part in getting those less fortunate outdoors. We are truly blessed to be able to follow along and capture these great moments.
From time to time you have moments that will change the way think about something. That is what happened for us while hunting the Scimitar Oryx with Republic Outdoors. Hunting is more than harvesting animals, it's conservation, and in this story, we learn how a species nearly extinct gets another chance to live.
Another great hunt this week with Intrepid Care. We have the chance to hang out with some Veterans from all over the country. We gather to tell stories, build relationships, and just enjoy the great outdoors. This trip is action packed and the guys are chasing South Texas hogs from the ground.
Every year, hunters from across the country flock to various parts of Texas to extend their hunting season. This year, our friends from Struttinbuck did just the same. Matt and Clede make the long drive to Del Rio to hunt South Texas bucks right on the Mexico border.
This week we are rolling along side the crew from Double T Outfitters. Management plays a huge role in every outfitters success every year. Bret and his team have a strong management plan in place and these guys had a blast with a group of out of state hunters.

In this episode, Slade and part of the old Trained Assassins Crew, Luke Mitchell (producer) and Ryan Wascom (host), head out to Colorado to chase bugling elk with their bows. Also joining the crew is one of Slade's real estate clients and his son. Part of the deal when this client worked with Slade was that Slade lined them up an elk hunt the following fall. It is an amazing week at camp with five arrows being sent down range and multiple elk hitting the dirt. You do not want to miss this one.
In this episode, we dive into how we are using our knowledge and experience to not only get some amazing hunting property, but to have other people pay for it. Sound too good to be true? We also take you on some great hunts we've had on our journey flipping land and think back on some memories from the past and what the future is going to look like. We hope you can learn a thing or two in this episode and encourage you to reach out with any questions you may have about this process.
