Due to misunderstanding Grimes when he says to "do" his wife, the two travel from Las Vegas to Washington, not realizing they've been sent out to kill the woman.

When they show up at a celebrity party, Cheech is mistaken for Burt Reynolds, and Chong for Dolly Parton. The duo rolls with it as they roll more joints, partake in the usual antics and eat every item -- which include a lot of mushrooms -- on the menu at Amsterdam's Bvlgar Café.

An unemployed pot-smoking slacker and amateur drummer, Anthony Stoner (Tommy Chong) ditches his strict parents and hits the road, eventually meeting kindred spirit Pedro de Pacas (Cheech Marin).
