The next set of challenges are set in sunny Esposende in Portugal. With stars such as Travis Ortmayer, Kelvin de Ruiter from Holland, and Ervin Toots from Estonia. While Fabio Silva will defend the honour in his own country.
Day 2 of the famous Team World championship here in Finland, done over 9 cruel events. In this episode the last and final 5 events take place. 8 Strong Teams are fighting for the title.
Were in sunny Finland for the next stage of a double-bill of SCL action, but this time its a team event. A truly fantastic event with 6000 spectators. Even during COVID times this was exceptional! 8 Strong Teams where fighting for the title over a crazy 9 events.
SCL Norway is normally all about snow, wind, and cold weather. Our brave athletes are used to compete under conditions few other athletes have competed in, but after COVID delays the competition has been moved from winter to summer bringing in a whole new range of challenges. With new places on the calendar, over 16 stages, broadcasting in over 100 countries and in its 13th year, the MLO Strongman Champions League (SCL) can be seen truly as the biggest strongman league in the world. The last stage over 2 episodes of the MLO Strongman Champions League, were held in Porto, Portugal. This competition in Portugal is full of memorable performances and strong results.
Hosted at Meydan Grandstand in Dubai, the Strongman Champions League had some really big names in the list like Mateusz Kieliszkowski from Poland, Brian Shaw from the USA and Krzysztof Radzikowski. In front of the Burj Khalifa the athletes do the deadlift max and 4 other heavy events at another spot in Dubai.
SCL edition Curacao 2019 was a great event, twelve power boys from all over made a great show at the white beaches, and 35 degrees Celsius heat in the Carrabean Islands. Two events were held on Friday at the beach of beautiful resort Sunscape, the other three were held near the world famous floating bridge at Willemstad on Saturday night.
Kelvin de Ruiter is here to defend his SCL World Truck Pull Championships title. But this year, another strong field wants his title. Over 3 different pulls with 3 different trucks, and 14 athletes at the start, it will be difficult for everybody.
In Callio is the deepest mine of Europe/ 1500 meter deep, whereas the MLO Strongman Champions League also did 1 event. The Forward Hold, on a 1500 dept/ also a kind of new record/ as it was never done before. Spectacular and new in Strongman sport.
In this stage we have a new strong debutant: Oleg Sylka from the Ukraine. He is the new talent, who will stand up against the old champions like ZSydrunas Savickas and Brian Shaw and the Stoltman Brother from the UK. This new talent Oleg is a great character and we will see him flame in the episode in Portugal.

Four times Strongest Man of Holland, Alex Moonen and the “Flying Dutchman” Kelvin de Ruiter competing here in Holland against 12 other strongest men in the world. There were 6 events in total, and 3 in this episode: The first event, a truckpull of 17.000 kg over 25 meters in max 75 seconds, was a real hard pull Also for the World Champion Truckpull, Holland's runner-up Kelvin de Ruiter, but watch his amazing technique here.
On a spectacular beach in Alanya, the MLO Strongman Champions League Turkey was viewed by thousands of spectators over a two day battle. With 12 athletes at the start over 6 cruel events, like Marble Stone Lift, Truckpull and Deadlift cars. And with the comeback of Travis Ortmayer / USA, former stone king and world ranked competitor. Winner of several SCL stages in the past.
The next stop in strongest league of the world is muscle capital, largest number of strong shoulders per capita in the World and of course, the most powerful host in Strongman champions league on the planet. It's a FIBO - the biggest expo on planet Earth and the second stage of 2019 Strongman champions league, in Cologne, Germany.
This year 14 athletes from all over the world came to Fefor to compete in 6 cruel events. We'll see typical Viking disciplines on very heavy conditions in land of snow and ice, World records and athletes like the title defender Krzysztof Radzikowski, strongest guys from Holland and Germany and many more
After 11 months and 14 competitions all over the world, it all comes down to the final in this episode. The strongmen must show their best skills and every mistake is expensive, so their concentration must be at the highest possible level. Will Krzysztof manage to take off back or will Dainis maintain his lead?
