Shingo's friend Mika gives him a doll but Shingo unintentionally breaks the doll and hurts Mika's feelings after being teased by boys at his school. Shingo decides to apologize, only to learn that Mika does not wish to see anyone.
A young photographer named Kijin Shinokawa holds a modeling contest, and Usagi decides to enter. Mysteriously, all the girls who have entered the contest begin disappearing after Shinokawa photographs them!
The Juban District is having a contest to decide who can design the best handmade wedding dress. Upon learning that the prize will be a free luxury wedding reception, Usagi, Rei, and all the girls in town compete to design their own wedding dresses.
Ami brings Usagi and Rei to her favorite park where the lake and peaceful environment make it a perfect dating spot. Unfortunately, the place is soon to be demolished. Rei decides to have a date with Mamoru at the park before it closes down.

Several people who take the bus near the Hikawa Shrine have started to go missing. Usagi and her friends decide to investigate by visiting the shrine, where they meet Rei Hino, a girl with strong spiritual powers.
Usagi and Ami go shopping, where they find a store selling a clock that resembles Luna. Usagi is happy to learn that her mother bought the same clock as a gift. That night, the clock emits a strange light that causes Usagi to become very impatient.
Usagi befriends Ami Mizuno, the school's smartest girl, who has an IQ over 300. But Luna, who senses an unknown energy coming from Ami, suspects her of being a Monster.

Usagi and her friends return to enjoying their regular lives. But their peace is short-lived when a strange phenomenon that turns people into monsters begins plaguing the city.
