In 2016, newlyweds Jade and Alice (aged 34 and 26 at the time) decide to turn their backs on successful careers in London to relocate 500 miles north to the stunning Scottish Highlands. They plough the proceeds from selling their flat in Croydon and all their savings into buying and restoring a 200 year old rundown and remote small hotel, in order to start new lives being their own boss as hoteliers and restaurateurs.
