Speed tracks down the assassin gang to an old oriental castle but ends up being captured by assassins who were awaiting him. Beneath the castle was the assassins' hideout, where officials and diplomats who had come to Japan for the peace conference were also captured.

Speed tries to help a kind old man to find his stolen car. It turns out that the man is a son of a once infamous gang boss, and the classic car he drives has a map a stash of treasure.
Speed was saved by a masked racer who is revealed to be Speed's older brother, Rex Racer. When Speed was at Rex's house, he was mistaken for Rex and kidnapped by intruder.
A masked racer, whose identity is in mystery, and whose face is concealed by a mask, came to Japan. He was a top racer but was also rumored to cause car crashes whenever he races.
Speed enters the Sword Mountain Race behind his father's back. However, Ace and his gang attack the Mach 5, aiming to steal the blueprints of Pops Racer's new engine.
In order to win, the racers try to sabotage the race by any means necessary. Speed continues to race with his belief in fair play, but this motto comes to corner him. Speed aims to reach the goal driving the Mach 5, overcoming various obstacles. What will happen next in the race?!
Mr. Goldminter, the richest man in the world, holds the Around the World Grand Prix. The champion will win tons of gold and his daughter, Lovelace. Upon a request, Speed joins the race with his pride as a racer. Lovelace also joins the race secretly, resisting to her father's self-centered decision.
Mira and Spectra meet with Prince Hydron, who shows her his collection and later receives a message from his father.
As Dan and Baron safely make it back to New Vestroia, they find their base completely empty with no sign of Shun anywhere.
The Resistance is ready to head back to New Vestroia and Dan wants to bring Runo, Julie and Alice along.
