It's 2016 and Mark heads down to Kansas for an early season Muzzleloader Whitetail hunt with Salt River Outfitters. It was hot in the stand with little deer movement until the moon phase switched and one of the bucks Mark had been looking for stepped out. Kansas is one of those states that has an early Muzzleloader season that opens in September, and if you can get the weather and the moon to align you can catch a big deer on his feet in daylight.
About 2-3 months ago Mark purchased a 300+ acre farm in Kentucky. After running trail cameras and putting food plots on the farm, Mark now has the chance to get in the stand on opening day of Kentucky's bow season. There have been plenty of shooter bucks on the farm but only a few still are holding their velvet. Mark has his sights set on a Giant Kentucky Velvet Whitetail.
