Jimi Hendrix

This expanded edition of "Jimi Plays Berkeley" showcases some of the guitarist's finest performances, captured May 30, 1970 at two concerts at the Berkeley Community Theatre. The film documents political unrest and student uprisings juxtaposed against live renditions of “Johnny B. Goode,” “I Don't Live Today” and more.

Genesis

Genesis

"Three Sides Live" was filmed in November 1981 on the "Abacab" tour in North America. Originally filmed in 16mm, the footage has now been fully restored. The show focuses on tracks from the "Duke" and "Abacab" albums and the tracks are intercut with behind the scenes footage and interviews with the band members. As ever with Genesis, the show is visually stunning and it captures the band in their transition from their progressive days in the seventies through to the hugely successful pop/rock act they became from the mid-eighties onwards. Genesis have always been great live performers and "Three Sides Live" is a great addition to any fans collection.

Milky Chance

Milky Chance

The German duet is back and better than ever! Milky Chance is the success story of two school friends, Clemens Rehbein and Philipp Dausch. After a long break, 2017 marks the release of a second, long-waited, album "Blossom". And, for the public, finally the occasion to discover live these new compositions, mixing rock, folk and electro pop. With reggae vibrations that can rub shoulders with house elements, Milky Chance has one of the most singular sounds. With the presence of musicians on stage, and if we believe the listening of the new record, we can expect more electric concerts, more electronic and even more energetic than in the past!

Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga's performance at the iTunes Festival in London on September 1, 2013 marks the superstar's first full concert since the The Born This Way Ball. It is an eight song set containing the world premiere of seven tracks from her fourth album, ARTPOP: "Aura" "MANiCURE" "Artpop" "Jewels N' Drugs" ft. T.I., Too $hort and Twista "Sexxx Dreams", "Swine" and "I Wanna Be With You", a song that transformed into "Dope" for ARTPOP. During the concert, captured stunningly in HD, Gaga says that she's "a bit like Dorothy right now." The stage is her Kansas, the crowd is her family, and their reunion is pure magic. Lady Gaga, her dancers, and her band traverse through visual and musical themes of love, sex, violence, beauty, danger, empowerment, hustle, lust, and above all ART. Throughout, Gaga lays her heart bare for the audience and the cameras with every note sung and every word spoken.

Johnny Cash

Johnny Cash

Johnny Cash was one of the most influential figures in American music in the post war period. He managed to combine elements of folk, rock 'n' roll and country, which together with his distinctive voice and guitar style, created an instantly recognisable sound. 1994 was to prove to be Cash's only appearance at the Montreux Festival. The "Man In Black" had just released his acclaimed American Recordings album and his European tour took in Montreux on July 5. This classic concert features a number of tracks from his new album coupled with favourites from across his career including Folsom Prison Blues, I Walk The Line, Ghost Riders In The Sky, Orange Blossom Special and San Quentin. An added bonus is the guest appearance of his wife June Carter Cash on two tracks. Caught at one of the high points of his distinguished career this is truly Johnny Cash at his best.
