Over 70 years ago, John Olin took 600 acres of farmland joined by timber and turned it into a wildlife oasis in hopes of creating an ideal place to raise and train the best Labradors Retrievers in the country. He called it Nilo, which was also Olin's model of conservation. Today, Nilo is still considered one of the most prestigious hunting and shooting preserves in the nation.
