The film showcases an untold story of the Indian forces fighting an intense battle to ward off Chinese infiltration. On Sep. 16, 1965, during the Indo-Pakistan war, China issued an ultimatum to India to vacate the Nathu La Pass, but Major-General Sagat Singh refused. The Chinese turned more aggressive, digging trenches in Nathu La on the Sikkim side of the Sikkim-Tibet border. The Indian army retaliated by building clear fences. All the scuffles led to a full-fledged battle that resulted in the Indian forces destroying many Chinese bunkers until they declared a ceasefire, but suffered great casualties as well.
