Roland Emmerich est un réalisateur, scénariste et producteur allemand connu pour son travail sur les films catastrophes et d'action. Il s'est fait connaître avec The Noah's Ark Principle (1981) et a cofondé Centropolis Entertainment en 1985 avec sa sœur.
