Jon Michelet

Jon Michelet was a Norwegian author, journalist and editor. He grew up working at sea and as a dock worker, and many of his books draw on that experience. Among his best-known works are the crime series featuring Vilhelm Thygesen, «Orions belte» (1977), and the six-volume epic «En sjøens helt» about Norwegian war sailors during WWII, which he completed shortly before his death from cancer.
