Theodoros Dimitriev (August 15, 1929 – December 25, 2016) was a Greek actor and singer, born in Athens. He started in musical theater. In 1955-58 he sang in the revues of the Vembo and Aliki theaters, as well as in the secular centers Asteria (Glyfada) and Blue Fox (Troias Street). In 1959 he was hired for the needs of Aeschylus' trilogy Oresteia (directed by Dimitris Rontiris) at the National Theater and since then he has been performing in ancient tragedies and comedies, mainly as the leading dancer, due to his deep and unique voice. His last appearance at the National Theater was in 2003/2004 in Hamlet as a ghost (directed by Michael Cacoyannis). He played (as Dimitriou) in the 1961 film Atlas and in 1962 Agamemnon in the film Electra. He has also participated in many television series, radio broadcasts, dubbings, choirs and other musical and artistic events. (Source: Wikipedia)
