本片由張徹執導，將男性的陽剛活力發揮得淋漓盡致，打斗場面更拳拳到肉，震憾人心！故事講述一幫土匪帶著劫來的保險箱到某小鎮，迫鐵匠韋明輝(李修賢飾)開箱，韋卻逃走報官。匪幫濫殺村民，毒打賣藝漢姚廣(王鍾飾)，三名義士──陳登(姜大偉飾)、方一飛(狄龍飾)和馬刀(陳觀泰飾)聞訊，聯手對抗眾匪；飯店老闆娘三娘子(王冰冰飾)風騷美艷，色誘匪幫頭目(韋弘飾)，計劃來個里應外合。豈料，韋明輝竟誤將路上遇到的土匪帶回小鎮，令殲敵計劃橫生枝節……
