哈瑞是個幫酒吧拉客的皮條客，但他一直不放棄四處尋找發財的機會，在一次機會中，他用計與前知名摔跤手喬治攀上了關係，想以喬治當靠山，舉辦摔跤比賽從中謀利，喬治的兒子知道哈瑞的算盤。。。。哈瑞的合資人弗利，因懷疑妻子海倫與哈瑞關係曖昧，而利用撤資原由，讓哈瑞不得不找了克瑞斯多旗下的摔跤手史瑞勒加入比賽，想不到在一次的練習中，脾氣火爆的史瑞勒竟讓喬治瑞斯不幸暴斃身亡…
