瑞典導演桑德伯格執導，《厲陰宅》導演溫子仁監製，《殭屍哪有這麼帥》泰瑞莎帕瑪、《暮光之城：無懼的愛》比利伯克、最常演出恐怖片的小童星愛蜜莉艾琳德主演。《鬼關燈》描述一則不為人知、潛伏在黑暗中的駭人故事。蕾貝嘉(泰瑞莎帕瑪 飾)離家時，以為她已經拋開了童年的恐懼。她從小就不確定燈熄了之後，眼前的一切到底是不是真的。而今，她弟弟馬汀也經歷相同無法解釋的恐怖事件，那個曾經讓她以為自己瘋了，甚至威脅到她生命安全的恐怖「東西」再度出現了……。不過這次，隨著蕾貝嘉愈來愈靠近真相，他們所有人的生命都將陷入危險，一旦燈光再度滅了。
