Сын великого полицейского Клеман, следуя завету отца, пошел по его стопам. Будучи баснословным растяпой, он в первый же день службы попадает в нелепейшую историю! Его перепутали с преступником и чуть не упекли за решетку. Так началась его «карьера». В один прекрасный момент, благодаря своей доверчивости, он становится сообщником преступника-рецидивиста, который с его помощью похищает известную журналистку. Осознав свою ошибку, Клеман самоотверженно бросается ей на помощь!
