G.I. Joe의 비디오용 영화. 1987년 4월 20일에 개봉했으며 마블 스튜디오와 선보우 프로덕션이 제작했고 실제 제작은 토에이 애니메이션이 만드는 방식의 합작으로 제작했다. 한국에선 1989년 여름에 일진 비디오에서 VHS로 출시했으며 1989년 10월 9일 한글날에 KBS2에서 오전 10시에 <용감한 팔콘 중위>란 제목으로 방영했다. 다만 방영판에선 듀크를 공작으로 번역해 버렸다.
