1995년 가짜 외계인 해부 영상을 유포해 전 세계를 상대로 사기극을 벌였던 두 영국인의 이야기를 코믹하게 재구성한 작품. 엘비스 관련 상품을 영국으로 들여와 비싸게 팔기 위해 미국으로 건너간 레이와 게리는 UFO 관련사건들 중 가장 유명한 1940년대의 로스웰 사건과 관련된 필름을 우연히 발견하고 그것을 대신 구입한다. 하지만 너무 오래된 필름이라 팔기 위해서는 복원이 필요하다고 판단하고, 스스로 외계인 해부 영상을 제작하기에 이르는데... 영국 BBC의 '팝 아이돌'의 진행자로 유명한 데클란 도넬리와 안트 맥파틴 콤비가 레이, 게리 역을 맡아 열연했다.
