어렸을 적부터 절친했던 잭슨, 테리, 브라이언, 데릭은 준수한 외모에 탄탄한 직업을 가진 잘 나가는 4인방. 데릭을 빼고는 모두 미혼인 이들의 주 고민 거리는 결혼 문제다. 모두 한때는 자유로운 바람둥이를 꿈꿨지만 서른이 코앞에 닥치자 나름대로 진지한 사랑에 대해 고민하기 시작한다. 증세가 가장 심한 건 의사인 잭슨으로 그는 결혼 공포증을 갖고 있었다. 결혼은 죽어도 안하겠다던 테리가 결혼을 선포하자 잭슨은 심란해진다.
