2018년 미국, 총기 난사 사건으로 국가는 떠들썩거린다. 요원 직을 은퇴한 후 평범한 삶을 즐기고 있던 제이슨은 미용실에서 일을 시작하게 된다. 그때 TV에서는 한 실종된 여학생에 대한 뉴스가 흘러나오고, 그날 밤 자신의 밑에서 일하던 요원인 존세가 찾아와 같은 정신 질환을 앓고 있음을 알게 된다. 그 둘은 임무 도중 어떠한 약품에 중독된 것이라 짐작하고 사건을 파헤쳐 간다.
