「バトルクリーク・ブロー」から５年、ジャッキー・チェンが２度目のアメリカ進出に挑み、「ダーティハリー」ばりのタフガイ刑事を熱演したハードボイルド・アクション。 香港からアメリカに移住してちょうど10年となるNY市警の刑事ビリー。荒っぽい行動がたたって現場捜査の担当を外され、ガローニ刑事とコンビを組んでファッション・ショーの警備という地味な役回りを引き受けることになったが、おりしも実業界の大物の娘でショーの主催者であるローラが、複数の男たちに誘拐される現場に遭遇。彼らのあとを追って2人の刑事は香港へと飛び、香港シンジケートの謎のボスの存在を探り当てる。
