もうすぐ17歳になるプリュダンスは母を亡くしたばかり。父は海外出張、姉は母がいない自宅を離れてしまう。広いアパルトマンに一人悶々と過ごすも、刺激を求めて万引きをしたり不良少女のマリリンを通じて違法バイク・レースの世界に入り込む。同じ年頃のフランクと恋心なく彼と一夜を過ごすも心は決して満たされない。プリュダンスの身勝手な態度に激怒したフランクは別の少女と街の中をバイクで走り出す。だが、その直後にフランクは事故を起こしてしまう…。
