לתפוס גנב
רובי הוא גנב יהלומים בדימוס הידוע בכינויו החתול. בגל הגנבות הגדול הפוקד מלונות יוקרה בריביירה הצרפתית נופל עליו החשד כמבצע הגניבות וכעת חייב רובי להוכיח את חפותו. כאשר פוגש רובי את פרנסס, יפהפייה בעלת ייחוס משפחתי גבוה, מנסה לתפוס את הגנב המסתורי ע"י הצבת פיתיון בצורת התכשיטים היוקרתיים השייכים לאמה של פרנסס. תוכניתו נכשלת והוא נתפס ע"י השלטונות. היחידה שמאמינה בחפותו היא פרנסס שעוזרת לו לברוח מציפורני המשטרה הצרפתית וביחד הם מנסים לפענח מיהו הגנב המסתורי.
