Réalisé en 1968 au moyen d’archives, souvent inédites, Un mur à Jérusalem retrace l’histoire conflictuelle du "fait israélien": l’implantation des premiers colons sionistes en Palestine au début du siècle, "le foyer national juif" au lendemain de la guerre 14-18, la création de l’État d’Israël en 1948 et les guerres israélo-arabes de 1948, 1956 et 1967. De l’aspiration légitime à une terre pour les rescapés des pogroms et de l’Holocauste, et de sa conséquence: le drame palestinien; Rossif fait une description toujours honnête, ne gommant aucune des responsabilités dans un problème qui reste d’une actualité brûlante.
