Il accepte de la cacher chez lui où il la retrouve finalement assassinée. Craignant d'être accusé à tort, il entreprend un voyage en Écosse pour prouver son innocence… Arrivé en Écosse il trouve une personne appelée Antoine Silvagnoli.
